A small New South Wales club, and one that intends to stay small. Classics, vintage and veteran, sports and performance cars, motorcycles of every kind. The machinery is the reason we meet; the company is why people stay. Membership is by invitation or personal introduction, and every candidate comes before the committee.
Petrol Power Incorporated is a not-for-profit association registered in New South Wales, formed in August 2026 by a handful of owners who wanted something smaller and better run than the clubs they had left.
No single marque, no single decade. A ’68 coupe, a British bike, a JDM hero, something nobody can identify — the badge on the bonnet has never been the point.
The club intends to apply to Transport for NSW for recognition as a historic vehicle club, so that eligible members’ vehicles can be conditionally registered under the Historic Vehicle Scheme.
That recognition has not yet been granted, and until Transport confirms it in writing the club cannot sign declarations. We’ll say so here the day it changes.
By invitation, or by introduction from someone already in the club. Every candidate comes before the committee, and not everyone is admitted — that is deliberate, and it is how the club stays what it is.
Joining is $10 and the annual subscription is $10. The money was never the filter.
If someone in the club has pointed you here, say who. If not, tell us who you are and what’s in your garage — the committee reads every letter, and the door is not bolted.
